Ideal for beginnersI have now purchased over 50 of these across the last 3 years; they are ideal for supporting utility shelves and securing custom built furniture. Of the 50,I have only had a problem with one which may have been damaged during transport.
The finish is pleasant and quite robust, the screw holes can be safely enlarged to accommodate 10mm wall screws (they are designed for 8mm) and there is next to no flex when a suitable number of them are used for the load.
However, they are designed on a slight and variable camber toward the wall (at most 2 degrees) which i have found requires them to be fitted to the wall and then the board mounted and drilled from that position, instead of assembly line style shelving.
I would buy more but at this point I don't need them.

Beware of these BracketPlease be aware - there bracket are hollow at the back therefore as you screw the screw in it pulls the rawl plugs out of the wall. I used the brackets with disastrous effects as you thing the screw is fully tightened where as the screw has only tightened itself to the bracket and not the wall. When using the cheaper brackets I had no problems only filling the original holes.
